Rome Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) Airport (FCO) is located 26 kilometres (16 miles) south-west of Rome city centre. A modern, busy airport, Leonardo da Vinci serves Italy's capital city with both international and domestic flights.
HOW TO GET TO THE APARTMENT FROM FIUMICINO AIRPORT (BY TRAIN + METRO)
The Leonardo Express is the name of the train that'll shuttle you from Rome's main international airport, Fiumicino, to central Rome's Termini station. A Leonardo Express train leaves every half hour in each direction. The train covers the 37 km in around 31 minutes.
From Rome Termini: Trains to the airport start at 5:52 in the morning, with trains running at 22 and 52 minutes after the hour. The last train of the day departs at 22.52 (10:52pm).
From Rome's Fiumicino International Airport: Trains to Termini Station start at 6:35 in the morning, with trains running at 5 and 35 minutes after the hour. The last train of the day departs at 23.35 (11:37pm).

Where to Buy Tickets at Rome Termini: Tickets can be purchased at the main ticket windows, as well as at the automatic ticket machines and at the news/tobacco stores in the foyer of Termini station. You'll find the train on track 22 or 23, a bit behind the train station and a short walk from the normal boarding area.
Validate your tickets prior to boarding the train by using the machines near the track, called obliteratrici in Italian.
Buying Tickets at Fiumicino Airport: After you've picked up your luggage, follow the signs to Stazione FS/Railway Station. You'll have to go up 2 floors to find it. Buy a ticket "Per Termini" at the FS ticket counter or from one of the machines in the station. You must validate your ticked by inserting it in the validation machine before you enter the train.
Take the subway LINEA A from Termini Station and get off at the station CIPRO (MUSEI VATICANI). Check the metro map page for more information.
HOW TO GET TO THE APARTMENT BY TAXI
We recommend that you use only authorised taxis (white vehicles with a taximeter) available at the arrivals areas of each terminal.
The fare of the taxi drivers of Rome is 40,00 euro,inclusive of luggage, for a maximum of four passengers.
The fare applied by the taxi drivers of Fiumicino is 60,00 euro, inclusive of luggage, for a maximum of four passengers.
Rome Ciampino airport (CIA) is located around 10 miles (15 kms) south-east of central Rome on the Via Appia Nuova. CIA airport is Rome's second airport, providing charter flights and regional European flights and budget airlines including Ryanair and Easyjet.
TRAIN
There are no direct trains operating from Ciampino airport to Rome but Cotral buses connect passengers to the Ciampino town station 'Anagnina' every 20 minutes. From there trains into Rome are every 10 minutes and take about 45 minutes to the Termini Station, continuing onto the Spanish Steps and Vatican.
BUS
Regular buses operate from the airport to the Anagnina metro station for Line A trains to the Termini Station.
COACH
Several coach operators serve central Rome: Terravision coaches take around 40 minutes to the Termini station with departures every 15 minutes at peak times. Returns from €13.50. Cotral/Schiaffini services link passengers with Rome´s Anagnina subway station via Ciampino railway station between 6am and 10.40pm.
TAXI
Taxi fares to central Rome cost around €35. The journey time lasts around 20 minutes.
